Energy Management System

Saving Energy and Money Through Demand Ventilation. CaptiveAire's Energy Management System (EMS) adjusts the exhaust and make-up airflow rates in direct relation to the cooking load. A temperature sensor in the hood/exhaust duct collar modulates the fan speeds. A 20% reduction in fan speed equates to a 48% reduction in fan energy costs. The EMSplus option (shown) offers a touch screen interface providing individual hood and fan(s) control, system configuration, programming of schedule and diagnostic information. New (SC)System Controls offer customizable options via microprocessor control and integrated plug and play wiring between interface and equipment, room temperature sensor, reset for electric gas valves, appliance shutdown with high temperature detection and digital interface with LCD screen. Available in SC or SC-EMS packages.
